The followings are steps of cassava flour milling process from Doing Company:
(1) Raw material reception and transportation. As we all know, fresh cassava harsvested within two days, have best quality starch. Try to keep and get fresh cassava to made process immediately can assure high quality cassava flour production.
(2) Cassava cleaning and washing. Here we use two stages washing methods. Firstly tapioca goes through dry sieve to remove sand and other impurities from its surface. Then they will be transported to paddle washer to complete thorough washing. This is the answer for tapioca cleaning made of cassava flour milling process.

(3) Grinding by cassava milling machine and desanding process. Peeled tapioca is grated into mash slurry. And then the slurry goes through desander machine to remove sand and other sundries. This section aimed to guarantee the cassava flour cleaning.
(4) Dewatering and drying process. The clean slurry comes out from desander and goes into the plate and frame filter press. The filter press is used to remove excess water content. Dewatered wet cakes will be broken into small particles by hammer mill and then it is sent to the flash dryer for drying in cassava flour milling process. Hot air though heat exchanger takes away water in the drying pipe and finally the cassava flour will be discharged to the cyclone with moisture content 12-14%.
(6) Sieving and packing in cassava flour milling process. To get standard or required fineness flour, usually there will furnish sieving machine to remove or separated big particles or fibers. After that, automatic packing machine will be used to finish packing in bags.
